⁸ The Lord ^(A)opens the eyes of those who are blind;
The Lord ^(B)raises up those who are bowed down;
The Lord ^(C)loves the righteous.
⁹ The Lord ^(D)watches over strangers;
He ^[a](E)supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He ^[b]thwarts ^(F)the way of the wicked.
¹⁰ The Lord will ^(G)reign forever,
Your God, Zion, to all generations.
